A Conversation With Friends Before Traveling
Traveling with friends can be fun, but to be completely honest, traveling with someone you know and love could be the beginning of the end of a really great friendship. I know its very cost effective to share a hotel room, but sometimes having a semi-serious conversation might just save an already amazing friendship. Here are some topics you should consider before swiping your card on a place to stay.
1. What's your budget?
You may want to stay somewhere that's a little high end, your BFF, not so much. Figure it out before you buy your plane ticket.
2. What's the purpose of our trip?
Sometimes its good to know ahead of time whether a trip with your BFF will be a mindless week(end) of napping by the pool or a re-creation of Girls Trip.
3. You trying to hook up on vacay or nah?
Listen, we all know what happens on vacation stays on vacation. Just simply let your Bestie know you don't want to be in the room when it's going down.
3. What's YOUR definition of clean?
You may have some friends who put things back in their place, and some who wait for housekeeping to do it for them. Some people have different levels of tidiness while on vacation because of all the extra perks and amenities. I mean, your friend doesn't have to be in the exact same cleaning boat as yourself, but at least its good to know what to expect.
